This year Dara Art Gallery presented a solo of Rashid Diab at Menart Fair Paris October 2025.

Almas Art Foundation is delighted to present an English translation of Visual Arts in Sudan by Dr. Rashid Diab, first published by ALECSO in 2004, providing a crucial overview of Sudanese art from 1940 to the early 2000s, capturing a period before the civil war. As an artist scholar, Diab offers unique insights blending academic rigour with personal experience, enriching the narrative with
firsthand accounts and critiques. Presentation of the iconic book is in tandem with an exhibition curated by Dr. Fathi Osman and Yafil Mubarak. The exhibition celebrates pioneers of Sudanese visual art. This exhibition was curated with the ambitious goal of offering a comprehensive glimpse into the remarkable contributions of Sudanese plastic artists.
